Long grain rice for a variety of dishes:
Cigala Agulha rice is an aromatic long-grain rice from Portugal. It is characterized by its extra-long and slender grains, which remain fluffy and grainy when cooked.
Ideal for:

Preparation:
- Rinse the rice in a sieve under running cold water until the water runs clear.
- Bring water to a boil in a pot.
- Add the rice and some salt and bring back to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer the rice with the lid closed for about 15 minutes until it is cooked.
- Remove the rice from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Tip:
- Refine the rice with fresh herbs such as parsley or coriander.
- For an even more intense flavor, you can fry the rice in a little oil before cooking.
- Cigala Agulha rice is also an ideal base for risotto.
